Cricket

Throughout the year, the cricket group host matches and competitions and we encourage as many members to become as involved as this is a great way to relax, have fun, enjoy your favourite sport, and meet new people.

ANZRI Cricket Carnival

A highlight in the calendar is the Australian & New Zealand Railway Institute (ANZRI) Cricket Carnivals, these have been contested since 1929, at rotating venues around the States of Australia & in New Zealand. These Carnivals are held usually over a 10-12 day period, and are as much a social as competitive event. Official Functions occur throughout the Carnival period, and visitors are welcome to attend as well.
